easy color pallet edits !

today i'm going to do a quick and simple tutorial for how to edit color pallets without doing any pixel art or any actual drawing !

for this tutorial, i'm using the free version of Autodesk SketchBook. it's great software with the most user friendly interface of all the free art programs i've seen. because it's so easy to use and free, we'll use it today to show how to do these edits.

first, choose the image you want to edit and open it in the program by going to > file > open and then choose the image from it's file location.

next, add a new layer over on the layer bar, above the layer that has the image on it.

then choose a color, and select the paint tool.

paint the image and move to the bar next to the image in the layer window screen. it should look like a blue bar with a sliding tab.

click on the tab and move the bar to change the opacity.

once you have the look you want, you're done !
